Glowing review of a new iPhone calendar app called “Peek.” The writer starts with an acknowledgement of the pesky gap between intentions and behaviors (via New Years resolutions), and then explains how making the right thing easy makes for a better calendar.
The designers of Peek clearly have a handle on the Fifty Bits “über” lever of making things easy (sometimes). That is, when the consumer is headed the right direction (e.g., making or checking an appointment) grease the skids and get out of the way. (The other side of the behavior coin is to do the opposite when it looks as though the consumer is headed the wrong direction.)
I haven’t given Peek a whirl, but it’s worth a look. Let me know if you’ve tried it, and what you like or didn’t like about it.
